Dubai diary, day two.

I want to start by saying Happy first birthday to my little blog! It’s one year old today and what a year it has been. I have made some wonderful new friends thanks to this little space on the internet. Thank you so much for reading and sticking with me over the past year.

After our jam packed first day we decided to slow things down a little on day two. Tom & I slept in until late and made our way across town to the Mall or the Emirates for a spot of late lunch.

A perfect excuse to wear my new favourite jumpsuit.

We stopped at Pinkberry for some elevensies Frozen yogurt. I became a little addicted whilst in Dubai, we don’t have them over here in the UK (I don’t think?).

I made a new friend along the way.

And found myself surrounded by angels at Victoria’s Secret.

We stopped for lunch at a little Indian restaurant just by the fountain. Just what the doctor ordered.

After a hearty lunch and a good old dose of window shopping we stopped for a summery coffee.

Armani seem to have a lot going on in Dubai, from restaurants, hotels, cafes and of course many a store. The cafe is lovely, well worth a little stop. No alcohol is served however the non alcoholic options more than make up for this. The food menu looks great too.

That evening I slipped into my new ‘little white dress‘ and we made our way to The Observatory bar at the Marriot hotel to meet up with Rosanna and Neil, some friends who are living out in Dubai. Tuesday also happens to be ladies night and according to Rosanna no one does it quite like the Yacht Club on the Marina.

Ladies get 3 free drinks… just for being female? I really got onboard with this! Inside is busy, loud and filled with beautiful people chattering and sipping away another Tuesday evening. You step outside and are greeted by this incredible view…

We found ourselves a great little table and set to catching up.

It all got a bit wild. We stumbled back to our room at around 2.30am and ordered a little feast.

Hands down the best Tuesday night ever.
