Summer Makeup bag Additions

I have been after freshening up my makeup bag for quite a while now. These are my most recent purchases, all from ASOS as they were having a wonderful little 30% off all things beauty so it’s rude not too, right?

I’ve been searching for a really good highlighter for what feels like forever. I had a great one from Dior but for some unbeknown reason they decided to discontinue it. The Nars version in Albatros looked like a good try. It’s a really great everyday highlighter, perfect for cheekbones and soft enough for a natural daytime look.

I also purchased the Nars Copacabana highlighter. This is one of those products that I always picked up and oohhed and ahhhed at when at the Nars counter but have never stepped away with. I can safely say after using it I am absolutely head over heels for it. I use the tiniest like bit to highlight the key areas and it goes such a long way. It gives your skin a really healthy illuminated look and is perfect if you want to achieve a dewy glow. I just love t.

This is a repurchase. Nars Kuala Lumpur is my favourite eyeshadow ever. Admittedly I originally bought it because I liked the name but the colours are so soft and pretty. I use the pinky/orange on my lids and the purple in the crease.

Another repurchase. Benefit erase paste is absolutely wondrous. It’s the only concealer I have ever used that doesn’t crease under the eye and can hide the latest of nights effortlessly.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I have seen this all over the internet and it seems to be the marmite of mascara. I really really wanted to love this and thankfully I really do. It’s lengthening properties are unlike any mascara I have ever used. It doesn’t clump and makes my lashes look really fluttery without looking like over caked spiders legs. An all round winner.

And finally some tools. Flat circle sponges are my foundation go to. I got one with a foundation I purchased recently and I love the natural finish it gives. An eyeliner brush from Nars to hopefully achieve that perfect wing and a fluffy eyeshadow brush for blending.

There you have it, my mini makeup bag freshen up ready for summer. I would love to hear your thoughts on Benefit Roller Lash if you have used it, please leave me a comment below.
