You can never have too many brunch spots.
Especially when it comes to brunching in Manchester.
Every weekend the streets are packed with hungry brunchers. All desperately searching for their orange- juice-champagne cocktail-runny egg-baconey-bloody mary fix.
People queue around the block for a table at Federal. Harvey Nichs is packed. Home Sweet Home overflows.
So I’m always keen to try somewhere a little different. This time I think I’ve found a real corker!
The food is good ‘n’ comforting.
Everything weekend fodder should be.
We kicked off with go-to coffee, tea and freshly squeezed juices.
I couldn’t resist sampling my favourite eggs benni. A perfectly runny yolk pouring into the rich salmon bed below. The hollandaise was slightly lacking but overall a really good dish.
We shared a not so healthy portion of pancakes. Don’t let the fruit fool you. Devilishly moreish.
Sometimes you cannot beat a good fry up. You know, a proper one with all the trimmings? Bill’s have got this down to a T. Look at that beauty.
Bill’s is a great place for a weekend brunch.
Especially as you can book a table, which seems to be increasingly unusual in Manchester.
And of course seeing as brunch isn’t an official meal, calories don’t count.
